The Muddy River String Band's bassist is a reformed orthodontist who discovered bluegrass music while on sabbatical in New Zealand. When she is not performing with one of her current bands or putting up with Art's latest antics, she is probably busy home-schooling her two adopted daughters where she spends her time performing the duties of principal, teacher, counselor, school nurse, P.E. coach, music instructor, cafeteria lady, janitor, maintenance worker, bus driver, playground supervisor, safety officer, and IT department head. Too bad she doesn't get paid for all those jobs!
