Diane is a classically trained pianist who discovered that she was really meant to play the hammered dulcimer and to sing the blues! She began playing the dulcimer on Christmas Day, 2004 and hasn't looked back since! Diane is a Wyoming native, is happily married to "Hillbilly Ben", and is a proud parent raising the next generation of Muddy River String Band's musicians. Her eldest plays a mean fiddle and her youngest will play the banjo just as soon as he stops drooling on it. But then, that isn’t really a requirement now, is it? Diane has yet to quit her day job where she works as a nursing instructor.
